Foam-Wrapped dusters are manufactured with a shaving of foam
wrapped around the feather shafts before the metal coil wire is attached. This
foam slightly surrounds the feather shafts, thus holding the feathers in place
more securely. This technique also aids in protecting the shafts from being
overly pinched by the metal coil wire, avoiding the feathers from breaking off
prematurely. Foam-Wrapped dusters are made with adult (more rounded) South
African ostrich feathers, and come with a smooth, stained, birch-wood handle.
Dusters shipped in a plastic sleeve cover.
