17" long ostrich feather duster--black feathers (9" head with 8" stained hardwood handle made of birch) A hard-to-find and popular-sized duster for cleaning companies. This duster is made with the softer black ostrich feathers, and the feathers are wrapped with foam before the binding is done. This holds the feathers in super tight. Black feathers are unique, softer feathers (compared to the gray "drab" feathers) and are exclusive to the mature ostrich male birds. There are about 4 female birds to every one male bird. Hand made from fine, washed and treated ostrich feathers.
